See www.vcsv.us/humanrace/index.html.

The theme is "Race to Get Ready" and there will be a whole

According to the race organizers, we should be able to start letting
people go by 11:30 or so.

DMV will replace CA Ham plates w/spaces
If you have California Amateur Radio (HAM) License Plates that have spaces between the numbers or letters and you would like plates without the spaces, the DMV has agreed to replace them.

You'll need to follow a two-step process. First, go to this link to get to the application form: Special License Plate Application. Secondly, the Statement of Facts form must also be filled out. Indicate on the Statement of Facts form that you want to retain your current plates until the new ones arrive. Mail both documents to the address on the application form.

Further information and complete instructions are available on the
Amateur Radio (HAM) License Plates web page on the California DMV web site.
