 Intro to Emergency Comms Class - Nov 21 
 Cupertino OES and CARES are hosting an "Introduction to Emergency Communications" class on 21-Nov. This is the first of 2 introductory classes for new hams who are interested in getting involved with Emergency Communications.

Date: Saturday, 21-Nov-09.
Time: Sign-in starts at 8:15am, Class starts promptly at 8:30am and runs until 12:00pm.
Logistics: Bring your radio and manual if you have one.
Cost: Free (donations eagerly accepted for coffee and donuts)

 2010 Pacificon Returns to San Ramon 
 As reported by Tex KG6ATH at the SVECS Breakfast today, Pacificon will return to the San Ramon Marriott on its usual October weekend. Dates are October 15-17, 2010. More details should also be available soon at the Pacificon web site www.pacificon.org
